Choose a Fortune 500 company that you are interested in researching for this assignment.
This company should be a different company than your Week 5 Research Case Analysis company or your Course Project company.
Write a report applying specific two course concepts from this week’s reading. Examples are Competitive Intelligence, Demographics, Porter’s 5 Forces, Value Chain Analysis, Resource-Based View, Balanced Scorecard, Human Capital, and Social Capital.
Research the online environment—newspapers, magazines, and websites—to provide current (i.e., within the last year) examples on the Fortune 500 Company that you choose and relate this information to at least two course-related topics (i.e., Business Strategy from this week’s reading assignment). Relevance and probable interest to the class are especially welcome.
The research case analysis should fully address the following points in this order.
· Introduce a Fortune 500 company.
· Discuss the information that you research from the online environment about the Fortune 500 Company.
· Discuss two concepts from this week’s readings. Explain how the online research information relates to two these concepts.
· Discuss shat practical managerial implications you foresee for this company based on what you have learned this week in class.
· References

· Place your name in the upper left-hand corner of the page.
· Each section of your paper should be headed by the bolded, capitalized item described above.

My Course Project Organization is American Airlines Group. The reason why I chose this company is because there is a lot of
information and financial background regarding this organization. American Airlines Group has been around for many years
and they ranked two spots in the Fortune in 2019. Relating the organization to SWOT Analysis for the strengths is as follows:
It has a Strong operational network, it is one of the largest organizations know internationally, and it offers various traveling
within the US or internationally.
Weaknesses is their financial status waivers and they increase prices when there is low demand of business.
Opportunities they are open to having fuel prices drop and they offer mail, freight, and global services.
For the Threat aspect of the organization, there is competition in the aviation sector, harsh laws when it comes to the
environment, and the government interferes with their decisions.

Great choice. American Airlines is one of the most top ranked airlines . But it surprising to me because I really thought it
would of been Jet Blue . They are both great Airlines. I would say that jet blue is the rivalry amongst American airlines.

American airlines reported 44.5 billion for the year 2018. American Airlines Financial statement for 2019 is not much
different from 2018. But for the year 2020 due to the pandemic, the numbers definitely plummeted.

I have decided to do my project on T.J.Maxx Company, not only is TJMaxx one of my favorite stores to shop at, it is also one of
the first company I worked for in the United States.
The TJX Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TJX), is one of the leading off-price apparel and home fashions retailer in the U.S. and
worldwide, is ranked 80 in the 2020 in the Fortune 500 company listings and operates four major divisions: Marmaxx,
HomeGoods, TJX Canada, and TJX International (comprised of Europe and Australia).
As of February 2, 2019 (the end of the fiscal year). TJX sales were $39 billion, and the Company operated more than 4,300
stores in nine countries, across three continents. T.J.Maxx Company was founded in 1976, and together with Marshalls in the
