You are to write a Research Paper on managerial economics and strategic analysis.
After our readings over the last five weeks, you should have an understanding of the types of strategic control, the need for balance between rewards, culture, and boundaries, the pros and cons of different organizational structures, the elements of effective leadership, ethics programs, and the types of risk a company may take.
1. Read the two attached articles on managerial economics. Once complete, you will have a basic understanding of how to incorporate these strategies and recognize the economic impact some decisions have on a company.
2. Select 1 of the 35 companies from Part 4 of our e-textbook (Case Studies). Be original and do not use a company you have researched in other classes. In addition to the information in your text, research this company using at least (2) outside scholarly articles. Your reference source must have an author.
Discuss six selected topics from our studies throughout weeks one through five. Discuss these six topics in relation to your company and also incorporate the issue of managerial economics within your company as well as how the economic situation of today influences the strategic decisions your company is making. Each of the six topics discussed should be in bold print. For example, Competition (Five Forces Framework, Organizational structure, or Strategic Grouping.
Your paper will answer the following three questions:
1. What is the importance of each of the six topics within your company?
2. What is the usefulness of understanding this topic in today’s corporate structure?
3. How does managerial economics fit into your topic?
FORMAT INSTRUCTIONS
You are to support your ideas, arguments, and opinions with independent research, include at least two (2) supporting references or sources (NOT Wikipedia, unknown, or anonymous sources), and format your work in accordance with 7th edition APA formatting which includes:
· A Title Page
· An Abstract with (3-5) Keywords
· A minimum of 3 FULL pages of written content, Times New Roman, 12 font, 1″ margins, left justified, and
· A Reference page
