small classroom. One week later, students are given a test on the lecture material. For those
students who heard the lecture in the large classroom, half are tested in the same large room,
and the other half are tested in the small classroom. For the students who heard the lecture in
the small classroom, half are tested in the same small room, and the other half are tested in the
large classroom. The dependent variable is the score each student gets on the test. The
independent variables are lecture condition (large or small lecture room), and the testing
condition (large or small testing room). The scores for each participant are listed below.
