Please give examples of how graphs are used in your life at home, business, investments, sports, etc.
When the end of the month comes about graphs are used in my life at home in the manner that it shows when did I spend the most, what bills were paid at that time and will be the money left over or even how much money would be needed for the next month by showing if there might be an extra cost and even if there is money allocated for emergencies. Bar graphs is the grapgh that would depict how that would be in a graph since is a graph of bars of equal width to show frequencies of categories of categorical data.
Below is a Bar graph that would depict how would this look showing how in different months if there was a higher amount spent or not

When I think of graphs used in everyday life I automatically think of money and when you
log onto a credit score website and you see a graph of all your progress over time and how the score may increase or decrease over time based on your payment history. After reading chapter 2 I discovered that these types of graphs are called Dotplot graph, in which the dots represent the change in value over time. The second graph is a Histogram, which shows how the credit scorehas also changed overtime just in a different layout using vertical bars. We all know that most of the time these credit scores are not 100% accurate but it is a fantastic way to keep an eye on your progress with all your payments made on time as well as potentially taking out loans for a future home or even a car can be made easy when you obtain that excellent credit score.
