The client background is a 47 year old male with Autism, one older brother, single mother, poor background. Observed behaviors, highly intelligent, fixed a crashed computer at the developmental center that he attends daily the first day he was there, can navigate the internet independently, can read, can draw freehanded extremely well, has won first place on his drawings at the local fair for the last 6 years, prefers to be alone and watch online videos and listen to music, does not socialize only repeats what you say. The current goal is to increase his socializing skills, the current treatment plan for this is getting him to read from books outloud to staff. He will do this without assistance, but still has not made progress on socializing.
