Before starting the essay professor would like us to identify the problem, the stance you will take on the issue, and the solution you will argue towards in 100-200 words. MUST have 2 or more oppose sides.The major writing project in this class is your persuasive research essay. Your research essay must be an 8-10 page (2,400-3000 words, not including bibliography page) essay that takes a clearly definable stance regarding an issue, supports it with credible research, and defends it powerfully and effectively. The essay should demonstrate the standards of good argumentation.Research RequirementsYour bibliography must contain a minimum of eight source entries, distributed as follows:1. Internet (web sites)â€”at least 3 sources2. Academic Publications (Books, Journals, Articles, and/or Periodicals)â€”at least 5 sourcesNote: essays must be composed in proper MLA format, including headers, page-numbering, font, paragraphing, line spacing, documentation, and the Work Cited page.
