PICOT ASSIGNMENT
The purpose of this assignment is to develop a PICOT question. APICOT (Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome and Time) questionstarts with a designated patient population in a particular clinicalarea and identifies clinical problems or issues that arise from clinicalcare. The intervention used to address the problem must be a nursingpractice intervention. Include a comparison of the nursing interventionto a patient population not currently receiving the nursingintervention, and specify the timeframe needed to implement the changeprocess.Using the “PICOT Question” template, formulate a PICOTquestion applying the PICOT format that addresses the approved clinicalnursing problem from Topic 2.
The PICOT question will provide a framework for your capstone project change proposal. While
