Reflection Paper #2 (Chapter 4) Perception Submit Assignment

This assignment requires you to identify communication concepts in the context of music by selecting a song that represents concepts from Ch. 4 (Interpersonal Perception). First, select concepts from Ch. 4 (e.g., interpretation, stereotypes, perceptual accuracy, recency effect, egocentrism, attributions, self-serving bias) that are represented in the song lyrics of your choice. Then, define the concepts you have selected. Finally, elaborate on the lyrics’ connection to the concept(s), and discuss what interpersonal communication message the song speaks to you, if any.

Please include the lyrics you selected in an appendix.

In your paper, you MUST:

1. Identify each concept and define the concept in your own words (do not use direct quotes from the text). YOU MUST PROVIDE TEXTUAL CITATIONS FROM YOUR TEXTBOOK TO AVOID PLAGIARISM.
