I found this article very interesting. It talked about how beneficial implementation research
is when making policies. This article gives numerous examples and strategies on how it is
beneficial in different circumstances. It also gives readers a good idea on what exactly
implementation research is.

Through my reading to this article i found that researches can be used to identify problems,
set country priorities during the design stages of policymaking, but they have to ensure
applying knowledge translation (KT) processes to get the best results .
Some of the obstacles that faced Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) project was the
inability of health systems in many low- and middle-income countries to effectively
implement evidence-informed intervention , so based on that that generating
implementation research evidence is not sufficient to improve the chances of successfully
delivering an intervention.

In order to successfully implement a system, the organization needs to define what the
system needs to achieve and how it is going to achieve it.
One point made in the article that I thought was extremely interesting was keeping tabs on
how the organization is adapting to the new system. It is important to know if there are any
problems or if the transition is going smoothly.
Lastly, the article discusses the important of testing the system. This will limit problems that
can be avoided.
As the article discusses many times, the key to implementing a system effectively is to plan
effectively. When planning is done thoroughly, this allows for less problems along the way.
